Master Joaquín Anzú Álvarez was born in Uruapan Michoacán, México in 1972. He came to the United States in September of 1988 where within a few months he enrolled in the art of Lima Lama. He started training Taekwondo in México at an early age. By God’s grace he has being training for over 30 years in different Martial Arts, such as Taekwondo, Hapkido, Kickboxing, Philipino Martial arts, Krav Maga and Lima Lama. He has been teaching Martial Arts for about 27 years. By God's grace he has been operating Anzu Martial Arts school for almost 25 years in the City of La Puente, CA USA. At the moment he holds a 6 degree black belt in Taekwondo, 6 degree in Hapkido, 2nd degree in Krav maga and 1st degree in Tang so do and certifications in different martial arts weapons.
